This is the companion website for the book, Unmasking Boko Haram: Exploring Global Jihad in Nigeria, and is strictly for scholars, analysts, and other researchers to review sources cited in the book’s bibliography, especially rare and vintage ones from Boko Haram, ISWAP, Ansaru, and AQIM. The best way to search for documents is to find their hyperlinks in the book’s bibliography and paste or type them in a web browser or use this website’s “search box” (the rectangle with the magnifying glass icon) and type in relevant terms, such as “video” (to locate videos), “ISWAP” (to locate ISWAP materials), or “Ansaru” (to locate Ansaru materials) and so on. Alternatively, this website’s mainpage is scrollable and various documents can be found through browsing the website by scrolling. Please note some browsers, such as Safari, may function better than others, such as Chrome, and some materials are unsettling and viewer discretion is warranted.

The book was published in April 2020 by Lynne Rienner Publishers in association with the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV), University of St Andrews.
